The Naked And Famous – Bury Us
Indie electronic band, The Naked And Famous have released a new song called “Bury Us” stepping into 2020 on a high level.
The Auckland, New Zealand band continue to make impressive sound like they have always done since their debut in 2007.
“Bury Us” gives the verses a dreamy flare with autotuned, echoed harmonies while the hook is a melodic, danceable burst that breaks down the stages two people in a relationship go through (“Heartbreak/ bliss, hysteria”) and orders to understand where the relationship is heading before it ruins them both.
The highlighted track from Recover speaks to the LP’s main theme of human survival and self-preservation, especially at the hands of another person who could bring you down.
